Why I added Ragi to my cake!

Now eating all the cake that I bake myself is definitely enjoyable, but it shows up on my waist line! I literally have my cake and eat it too! So as I really enjoy feeding people and playing , I end up sharing most of my baked goodies with family and friends. Also in order to reduce the guilt, I try to incorporate at least one healthy ingredient into my cakes.

For example, I have baked with beetroot, carrot, oranges, lemon, blueberry and in this case ragi or finger millet flour. Ragi is a nutrient dense millet and is considered to be a palaeo food. Read about its health benefits here.

Most of my baking stints are usually followed by few days of vigorous cardio stints together with my regular hour long vinyasa yoga flow. Helps me keep the guilt at bay!

Hope you enjoy my recipe of Chocolate Ragi Marble cake and will try it out. I will be back soon with a new cake recipe 😊.
