Dot & Key PHA and Bakuchiol DAILY PEEL RESURFACING MILK SERUM.

I am basically an oily and sensitive skinned girl . I have forever being fighting the battle for achieving healthy glowing skin. Dot & Key PHA and Bakuchiol DAILY PEEL RESURFACING MILK SERUM is a relatively new addition to my skin care arsenal and itโ€™s a bomb of a serum! Read on to know more.

Like most people blessed with oily skin I used to shy away from all forms of moisturisers, creams and sunscreens. Add to that the regular sprinkling of acne which mixed things up pretty damn well! Overall you can say that my relationship with my skin in my teens was a bit complicated ๐Ÿ™„.

Then I became a geologist. This involved spending long hours in the sun to figure out the mysteries within rocks and mountains. So saving my skin after the constant exposure to sun and dust became an even greater challenge. I have grown to understand the critical importance of both sun protection as well as moisturization. Along with these two regular exfoliation, both chemical and physical, has played a big role for my skin health. The Dot and Key PHA and Bakuchiol DAILY PEEL RESURFACING MILK SERUM is a relatively new addition in my chemical exfoliation kitty and itโ€™s a winner. Its ideal for sensitive skin and gives a good result.

I am on my second bottle of this serum. Read more about the ingredients and the serum here.
This serum has natural botanical extracts like chamomile, white tea, aloe vera to calm the skin and hyaluronic acid to hydrate. The exfoliation is done by PHA which is polyhydroxy acid which is a gentlef alternative to AHAs and BHAs. You can read more about PHAs at https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/phas-for-your-skin-the-facts-behind-the-beauty-hype. Bakuchiol is a new super ingredient which is said to be a safer natural retinol alternative. Read about it here https://www.healthline.com/health/beauty-skin-care/bakuchiol-retinol-alternative .

My experience with this serum

This serum has a light milky consistency. It is quickly absorbed by my cleansed and toned skin. I apply it mainly during my night routine. I top of with a gel based moisturiser and a sleeping mask. And I wake up to baby soft and glowing skin. The best part is, it has not broken me out even once. In fact it has helped to calm down many a bumps with pimple forming potential. I use this serum 3 times a week on alternate days. I try to use sunscreen religiously , even when I am at home. Because chemical exfoliation can make the skin more prone to tanning.

To sum in all up….

Overall,Dot & Key PHA and Bakuchiol DAILY PEEL RESURFACING MILK SERUM does the work that it claims to do without any breakouts( super important for me). Definitely buying it again!

  2. I think it is tough to write a review of anything – but you do such a great job providing a nice balance of information and experience in this post. I hope you get a lot of sales!

  3. I am intrigued .Daily peels scare me because of the increased tanning effect .As you mentioned I will need to use a sunblock
