Money Games

We were watching Lara Croft, Tomb Raider on Netflix that day. Lara and her cohorts were on the search of Pandora’s Box and other priceless treasures by using extraneous measures.Gravity defying dare devilish jumps followed by near super humanish tolerance to pain and violence forms the core of these stunts in the movie, enacted very believably by Angelina Jolie!The stunts in the movie reminded me of some of the video and pc games that I used to play during my teenage years. Many of those games had the final objective of finding a huge sum of money or treasures. Basically they were Money Games.

Now watching that movie made me feel like playing some online games. Its so much easier to play games these days on your mobile, you don’t even need a tv or a laptop for that. Gaming is something that I have been pretty passionate about in my growing up years. So recently I came across a pretty nice website to play a variety of online games direct from my mobile.I found this wonderful website where awesome ad-free easy interface games are available.The best part is it’s basically a financial information website called mortgagecalculator.org which gives easy to understand tips and tricks about financing. How to manage your finances?

All of us need some basic orientation with respect to our finances. This is because managing our money is something that we have not learnt theoretically. Its something that we all have had to do by default after we started earning. There is no special training which we have undergone to manage our money. Most of what I know is from observing my mother managing the monthly expenditures and later on from some one on one discussions and reading some blog posts written by my elder sister. They have been really informative.

How I started managing my money

There was one time which I specifically remember when I was going through a severe cash crunch after I bought my car and shifted flats, both together. Suddenly I found myself struggling with my finances and really working hard to make ends meet. I wish I had come across money managing educational websites at that time. In the absence of that, I decided to manage by tracking al my expenses and planning all the minute expenditures. Even before getting the salary, I would chalk out all my projected expenses. Then during the ongoing month, I would religiously write down my daily expenses down to the paisa. That really helped me a lot and made a huge difference. I could easily track down where my outflow is more and I needed to cut down. Things became smooth again, and I could eventually again invest in tax saving schemes as well.

Nowadays financial knowledge is easier to get from online sites. In the new game website, I have spent some pretty enjoyable times playing fun investing games, money games, real estate games and even office politics games! Now that is something nobody really teaches you about!

Money Games

With a wide variety of game types, I started with Money Games: counting money and making change which are are a fun way of learning about money.
Cashier Simulator game was really enjoyable for me where as a player I had to operate the cash register at a grocery store. Super fun right?

Other than the money games, a few of the games that I really enjoyed playing were in the Real Estate section in which you have to buy and sell properties, make a thriving LEGO city, and clean up a mess or germs.
Amongst them, the Amazing World of Gumball Tidy Up is a house cleaning game for kids in which you have to help Darwin clean the Watterson home and look out for Gumball who likes to ransack already cleaned rooms. I guess this game is not only for the kids because we all need some help here and then in matters of tidying up! It is overall a fun game and I wish cleaning up my own house was this easy! It has a element of being rewarding which made this game stand out for me.

I also played one of the Office Politics Games called Office Hurdles which is an endless running game set in an office environment in which you have go overcome hurdles. You have to time your jumps perfectly and navigate the obstacles just like we do in real life!

So now whenever I fee bored, or bogged down by mundane life things, I play a few of these games to be instantly refreshed! Because after all there are somethings money cant buy, and peace of mind tops the list of those thing.
