Don’t listen to that voice,
Its there just to make empty noise,
The voice is known to lie often,
Be sure not to let your heart soften.
Carry on with your work with joy,
Ignore the voice as if it’s a petulant boy,
It may try to deter you from your peace,
Swat at the voice and don’t let it tease.
If you are focused in the work that you do,
The voice will give up and go far away to Timbuctoo….
